Hair Loss at 16!

Hair Loss at 16!

am 16. I used to have very thick and curly hair similar to (the singer)
shakira's natural hair. However, when I became 13, I used very rubbish
straighteners, they didn't work very well and were quite old. I burnt a lot
of my hair as I was unaware of how to use the straighteners and would spend
many hours straightening, as I was desperate to get straight hair. Now my
hair is very thin and year by year it is thinning more and more. I have a
couple of small bald patches. I hardly have any hair. I assume this is due
to straightening my hair the way I did. I don't know??! My hair now looks
completely opposite to how it used to look before. My hair was so volumized
and very, very thick before. How can I get my hair back to normal again? I
want my thick, curly hair back!!! Please help me.

I'd try Regulate shampoo by Wella because it's gentle and very volumizing.  Take it easy on your hair.  Don't pull at it - gentle comb outs and air dry as much as possible.  Improve your diet, cutting out fast food and eating home-cooked meals with lots of vegetables, organic meat and fruit.  You may need to take supplements with multivitamins and minerals.  Get checked for celiac disease because it's extremely common and causes nutritional deficiencies.  It is linked to hair loss.  Avoid weaves and styling techniques that pull at hair because traction hair loss can be permanent. If there is any flaking or itching of your scalp, try Nizoral shampoo (OTC).
