Hair loss with a small dent in head

Any idea why I suddenly have a round bald patch with a small dent in on my head ? It wasn't there a month ago. I shave my head every month myself, and always use 2 mirrors to view the back of my head, and it wasn't there last time I shaved it. I do remember hitting my head about a month ago, in that area, on the corner of a shelf, but I forgot all about it because after the immediate pain I didn't have reason to think of it again.

Thanks for any help. I treated it a bit like a joke at first but over the last few days it appears bigger, unless it is just because my hair is growing around it.
