Right sided hair loss for women

52 year old female losing hair only on the right side of head including eyelashes and eyebrow.  What are known causes?

I am in my 50s too and noticed 1 year or more ago that my hair was thinning and there were a few bald patches and i found hair in the shower all the time. I went to skin specialist
and she gave me pills that did nothing. I tried Nioxin for ages but it did nothing either. So I started takinng multivitamin tablet every day and a Vitamin D capsule (Cod liver oil I think it is). I have noticed that my hair no longer looks thin in the front and there is no loss in the shower anymore. I think that whilst we think we eat healthily, actually we don't. Our diets are missing all sorts of minerals and vitamins and it is only by making sure we get these things like Potassium and Vitamin b of various kinds that our body can get back to normal. You are what you eat is true.
