Slow hair growth on my temple/ front scalp

Slow hair growth on my temple/ front scalp

I have been a strict vegetarian 4 the past 11 years now but I make sure that I have a healthy diet everyday. I take a multi-vitamin& mineral tablet everyday and sometimes 2 tablets, depending on the strength of the tablet. I know vegetarians are supposed 2 b lacking in vitamin B12, so I also try 2 take a Vitamin B12 ((100mcg) tablet separately daily. I know apart from vitamins & minerals the hair also needs a  lot of proteins. I have read that proteins from plant sources r not complete like the animal derived proteins. I try 2 consume different types of beans, lentils, nuts etc and drink milk 2 make up my RDI of protein. Before I was consuming soya beans, soy milk and chunks (rich in protein) but now I've given it up due to scientific updates on Soya products being detrimental to health.

Despite my healthy diet, the hair on the front of my scalp/ temple area is very short. It grows very slowly compared to the hair on the rest of my scalp.  I have tried trimming it to enhance the growth but still the growth rate remains slow. I have tried hot oil treatment and massaging my scalp but nothing seems to work. I have a very pretty face but little hair on the front of my scalp is spoiling my looks. When I leave my hair untied, the little hair on the front of the scalp goes unnoticed but I have to keep my hair tied @ work n this is when I feel embarrassed about my hair problem. I am a 28 year now. As a child up till my teen years my hair had been thick and very long. But now I feel depressed 2 look at myself in the mirror because of my hair problem. I long for a healthy, strong thick hair. Please help me.
