female with hair loss

I am a 57 year old female who is suffering from hair loss for the past 2 moths. My endocronoligst said it wasn't related to my hormones. Baldness doesn't run in my family. I have been on certain medications: ribaviron, INCIVEK and pegasis to treat hepatitis C for the past two years without positive outcomes . the incivek created a total bodyt rash which left me hospitalized.  my hair started falling out about 6 weeks after treatment stopped.  i have stopped blowing my hair,am taking biotin and multi-vitamins and even stopped brushing it.my scalp show in various places.please help

Yes, your hair loss is probably from the medication, but it will probably come back just fine.  Optimize your nutrition with leafy green vegetables, brussel sprouts.  Avoid greasy, fried food or a lot of starches and eat mostly fruits, vegetables, and lean meats, fish and poultry.  At least it's temporary.

Yes I also agree with caryopteris, that you should emphasize on nutritious food 1st and then go for medication.
