I am currently about 6 weeks pregnant, just over two months ago I experienced a very early miscarriage. I got pregnant again directly after the miscarriage. I am suddenly losing quite a bit of hair. When I was a child I experienced alopecia totalis, I lost all of my hair, but it quickly grew back. I am not sure if this is from the miscarriage and just a hormonal thing or if it could be alopecia areata again.
Could the early miscarriage and then getting pregnant again so quickly cause this hair loss?
