I'm in the US and get Finpecia from United Pharmacies, since hair loss is "cosmetic" and not covered by insurance.  I haven't had any side effects or problems with it in 3 years of use, and it's helped my hair grow back enough for other people to notice and comment on it.  

I get 10 strips of 10 pills at a time ($45).  Technically, it's illegal, but Customs has said they will let it go through if it's for private use and 3 months worth or less (100 pills = 3 months).
