ANYONE PLEASE HELP!!

I hit my head 3 days ago (Sunday) on the side panel of the doorway. I didn't hit it that hard, I literally just turned and leaned over too far while talking with someone, and hit my head on the right middle side. I have had slight pain ever since, an annoying slight tension headache, and nausea. The nausea has gotten much worse today, I almost threw up, and the headache is more annoying. I am thinking I am so nauseous from the weird headache. I don't know if I need to go to a doctor or not?!?! It has been over 48 hours, and they say that after a head injury if it has been that long, than you are fine if nothing serious is going on. I am able to hold a conversation and not blacking out or anything, so I don't want to waste money at the doctor if it is not needed. Thank you for your input!!!!

Unfortunately any time you hit your head and have resulting nausea, it is best to go to a doctor where they can do a neuro exam.  Chances are it may be nothing, but if you have low level swelling or a small bleed, it is better to get treatment sooner than later. With something like this it is better to be safe than sorry.
