Bump on head got bigger after 5 days

On Christmas day, my 2 year old fell about...i want to say 3 feet off my bed and bumped her head really good.  She also had a heavy nosebleed.  The nosebleed stopped after a good minute and she had a big bump in the center of her forehead.  The swelling went down after a short while.  Well, 5 days later, the bump is suddenly much bigger than it was this morning.  My mom was watching her today and said that at no point in time did she see my daughter hit her head again.  She did at one point walk up to my mom and say that her head hurt, but she wasn't crying or anything.  I asked my daughter, who is actually really good at telling me if something happened, and she said she didn't hit her head today...I'm worried.  Is this something to be concerned about?

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Please take your daughter either to ER or to a doctor immediately and get this examined. A bump that increased in size could be due to repeat injury, hematoma or bleed, leak of CSF or just a contusion. However this needs to be checked. Sometimes in small children signs of head injury appear late. Take care!

Did you take her to the hospital after she hit her head and had a nosebleed? If not and no scans were done, I'd suggest you call your pediatrician for an urgent appointment or go to an urgent care to have her checked out, just to be safe.
