Concussion and Nicotine Withdrawl

by Levy510, Oct 31, 2009 04:51PM
Hi. I am on my third week of quitting smoking. Before then I was a heavy smoker. I would smoke as much as three packs a day depending on my stress level. I was rushed to the hospital three weeks ago because my heart would not slow down after a jog. I was having trouble breathing as well. Just last night, I went to the bathroom. I became dizzy and I think I blacked out. When I came to I was frantic and climbing out of the tub with my head aching. After I calmed down I went back to bed.

My question is: 'How do I determine if I have a concussion when I am experiencing similar symptoms already from nicotine withdrawl?'

The whole reason I fell was because of the dizziness caused by my nicotine withdrawls, I believe so anyway. I don't want to throw money away again on the hospital. I paid a sharp fee to have them tell me two different things. I just don't know what is going on anymore with my body these past weeks. Its making me crazy and depressed. I hate it. I have almost no control over my emotional state.
