Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
If you have diplopia due to third nerve or occulomotor palsy then consult an eye specialist or an optometrist to measure the angle of divergence of the visual axes. If this angle is large then you will have to patch up one eye till this angle lessens and then spectacles with horizontal or vertical prism can be used. If the angle is small then horizontal or vertical prism can help correct this. Take care!

as far as i am aware (and im only aware from personal experience) pretty much the only treatment at the moment is for you to wear an eyepatch when you're reading, driving, using computer.

i have been told the reason i have double vision is because the muscles in one of my eyes is weaker than the muscles in the other.

BUT
it is getting better and after 7 months i have noticed a definite difference.
