EEG and anti-seizure medicine
Will taking anti-seizure (lamictal) medicine affect the EEG?

Hi!

The focus of a seizure activity will usually show up on EEG even when a person is on anti-seizure medication. While on medication an EEG is done to monitor how effectively the medication control the progress of the seizure activity. Do discuss this with your doctor. Take care!
