Encephalitis

I had suffered from viral encephalitis 2 weeks after birth I am now 26 and I am looking for a few answers. I was diagnosed with ADD/ADHD, Bipolor, do you think that it has anything to do with the Encephalitis? I also was wondering what are the long term effects that I may have from this situation. The current is the deffiant ADD/ADHD that I am on medication for but recently is me vision has gotten extremly worse over the past year, could this all be from the Encephalitis.

I am not a doctor; I am an encephalitis survivor.  Most of the residuals you describe are related to encephalitis but most doctors don't know anything about these residuals.  Most haven't even seen one case of it; that's how rare it is.  You might want to go to: www.encephalitisglobal.org and join the support group and ask your questions there.
