Foot Drop during hospitalization

I have a Traumatic Brain Injury following a car accident in 1995. While in a coma and months of hospitalization I have Foot Drop. I still feel pain in my foot while laying in bed at night after 18 years. Does anyone know if there is treatment for this so long after the initial injury?

I would also like to know why the foot pain after head trauma?? my son had  a severe head trauma a few years back and he ALWAYs complains about his foot hurting him.  I always thought he was just being lazy and didnt want to walk or something.....can this be related? The doctor said that his foot or legs hurt because of growing pains. what ever that means
