Head Trauma/Lessor Occipital Neuralgia/Uveitis

My partner, who is a paramedic, in Feb 2008. She hit her head, knocking herself out. After months of cluster headaches she was diagnosed with lessor occipital neuralgia and a concussed inner ear. We finally convinced the "powers that be" to allow her to see a Neurologist. He prescribed (after trial and error) Topamax to control her headaches. She hates the side effects (Iosing her words, lack of concentration and loss of feeling in her fingers). Just before Thanksgiving 2008 we noticed broken blood vessels in her right eye. It wasn't painful, initially, so she chose to ignore it. After researching Topamax I became concerned. Her eye would improve for a day or two and then the redness would reoccur. Right after New Year's she developed eye pain, I then started asking her to see an eye doctor, she called her neurologist who told her it couldn't be the Topamax since it was only in one eye (one side effect of Topamax is Iritis AND eye pain). About 2-3 weeks later I convinced her to call our eye doctor, he sent her to an Ophthamologist who diagnosed Uveitis and Episcleritis. She is treating with Steroid drops, it is improving slightly but even after 2 weeks it isn't going away. Could this have been caused by the Topamax or even by the head trauma (she isn't entirely rid of the headaches but they are fewer and a bit more manageable). Thank you in advance for any input.
