Head symptoms

I am not sure if this is anything but for the last two months I get a feeling sometimes that I am being hit in the back of the head with a blunt object and then I feel jolted for a few seconds.  I am not being hit with anything nor have I ever suffered from any accidents to my head.  I can be sitting, laying down, walking it doesn't matter.  I have noticed as well that I have been getting more severe headaches more frequently since these symptoms have started.  I don't know if I should see a doctor cause as soon as it is done I am fine.
