Headache after hitting head, nauseous. Need for concern?

by david343, Aug 23, 2009 07:37PM
I recently hit my head and I have started to have a headache. I was swimming in my pool and did a backflip underwater, but hit my head on the pool floor. It extremely hurt for a little while, but the pain went away in about 10-20 minutes. Everything was fine until the next day. The next day, in the late afternoon, I took a nap. After I woke up, I started to have a small headache. I touched my head, and whenever I put pressure on the top of my head (the part I hit on the floor) it hurt. If I don't touch it, I have a small headache. I also have been feeling a bit nauseous. Is this a need for concern, or is it something that will just pass? Migraines are usually associated with nauseousness, but I don't think this is a migrain. If you need any more detail, please ask.
