okay. Thank you so much!!!
Hi,
Yes migraines can occur randomly. The headache is usually preceded by an aura in which the subject experiences photosensitivity and tinnitus etc.
There can be other triggers for migraine like food preservatives, MSG, processed meats, aged cheese, bright light and loud noise.
Dehydration can cause terrible headaches. Please make sure that you maintain your fluid intake at all times.
So it can happen at any random time right? I don't drink coffee or alcohol? Would it probably be because I don't drink enough water? Thanks for taking your time to answer my questions I really appreciate it!
Hi,
How are you?
Severe one sided headache raises the suspicion of migraine which can occur with or without aura.
Migraine headaches are throbbing, pulsating headaches. I would suggest you to avoid caffeine and alcohol for a few days and take OTC pain killers for pain. Make sure you are not dehydrated and eat regularly to avoid low blood sugar levels.
If your headache does not get better please consult a neurologist. Take care!
