Neurostimulants

My son has an aquired brain injury
He is presently in rehab for injury
He has been put on Adderall (adderrall) 15 MG GTUBE BID

I notice a chnage in his mental status  and he sweats badly and breaks out in tiny red dots on face and forehead
He seems really out of it not talkative  will just stare and not talk

Could this med not be good for him, could this be a side affect

He also has a hard time opening his eye lids on his own. He is awake but struggles to open his eyes
Is there soem other medication that may help with this issue and do you think the adderall (adderrall) may be too much for him

He had never been on meds prior to injury especially brain stimulant drugs


he does wake he carries conversation, will follow commands its just when given that certain med I see a big change in him and am uncomfortable for him
