Pain tightness burning

Pain tightness burning

58 year old woman --a month ago hit head on a wood sand table. Back and hip as well.
Ongoing head and neck burning, tingling, prickly, pain. 10 years ago diagnosed, with light fibromalygia (fibromyalgia).  Foot side of hip goes cold and numb, when exercise, certain exercise physio gives or on it too long.  Tramadol, and Naproxen not keeping up with the pain and I don't want to go to stronger meds. Also on PMS-Mirtazapine don't want to be on, as I deal with natural supplements more.  What doctor can help me a neurologist, rheumatologist. My doctor has referred me to a pain clinic and a Phychiatrist. Thanks for any input.

Hi!
Well, the pain can be due to fibromyalgia. But since the woman suffered a fall, and hit her head and back, she should undergo a MRI of head and neck and also if need be lower back. Since there is numbness and cold areas, there is a possibility of nerve compression. You need to also probably undergo nerve conduction tests. Please discuss this with your treating doctor. Take care!
