Thanks, I am just not certain who will be able to examine me since I still owe for my emergency room visit and CAT. Like I said I am unemployed and not eligible for medicaid, but I will see what I can do... I just was not certain if these particular symptoms should be expected. I have a friend that is an OB/GYN that I have asked, he says it might be physcosomatic because it has been 6 months but then again, he really is not qualified to make that judgement call, that is why I came here. People who have been injured would know better what to expect in addition to when to see the doctor. I appreciate you response.
You should definitely go to get checked out. There is clearly something going on with you. You have obviously not fully healed, even 6 months later, which is totally normal. I had a severe concussion and was out of sports for a whole year in high school because I had persistent symptoms like dizziness and headaches. You may be at risk for something like an aneurysm, clot, hemorrhage so play it safe and go to your Dr.
I do not qualify for medicaid, basically what I experience is intermitant, the pain will start on the temporal and parietal area, where I did hit the cement and then radiate toward the occipital bone, it usually lasts for a minute maybe less or more, not really sure... all I am aware of is that it hurts :), as I said it is not a headache, it is a sharp pain and when it occurs I am very well aware of it. If I touch the area that was struck it is tender, but I suppose that could be physosomatic, induced by the memory. The disoriantation I experience with words is mostly when I am tired or under stress, due to unemployment. But I have noticed it does take me longer to read.
Yes, there can be damage - even damage to the pituitary. Is there a clinic you can go to?
