Post injury headache

Two weeks ago, I tripped on something walking in my door which flung my body forward and I slammed my forehead and face directly into a door.  I split my nose open across the bridge and my forehead had very minimal swelling and bruising on one side.   I did not pass out, just was kinda foggy for awhile.   The next day did not improve so went to doc who sent for CT scan which was normal.    Now I am still having headaches all the time in my forehead - is this something to expect or is it possible there are late effects from the injury.

I have suffered a fractured skull and concussion and the headache syndrome can last for months. Eventually everything settled down and healed nicely. That, of course is not a representative patient sample. Initially the brain swells after an impact but after two weeks things should be settling down on their own.
