Veins appearing on my temples

I use to get headaches a lot, but not so much anymore. The pass couple of days I have had one again, but nothing a few Advil won't help. Anyway, the vein along my hairline has started "popping out" or showing. It comes and goes - it doesn't show all the time, but then it will be back. Does this have anything to do with my headaches?? Is it something I need to be concerned about?? What could be causing something like this?

Visible veins in the temple are usually seen in patients with chronic headaches. Sometimes when one is excited or agitated these veins become more prominent. At the moment it does not seem to be any thing to be worried about. Take care!
