Worrying for nothing? Hit Head

Worrying for nothing? Hit Head

I hit my head on a large thick glass table last night, hit it so hard I lifted the 70lb table up. I'm still having pain in my head and neck and slightly down my back. I think the impact caused my neck and spine to hurt. They still hurt, but I have not have any mood changes, walking difficulties, pupil changes, etc. But, is it common to have all this pain down my neck and back after hitting my head on the top? Should I see a doctor or only if I notice changes in gait, mood, pupils, etc? Thank you

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
You had a very heavy impact on your head and neck. In neurological injuries at times symptoms appear late. Please consult your doctor as soon as possible and get a CT scan/MRI of the brain and cervical spine as advised.
The pain down your spine could just be due to the impact. However it is always wise to rule out other injuries in such cases. Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
