I also hit the back of my head and had a severe concussion and brain contusion (bruising of brain) 1 year 10 months ago and still suffering with 24/7 dizziness, stuffy head, ringing in ears etc.,  When it comes to Post concussion syndrome it is really a collections of many many symptoms and confusing.  You are only 3 weeks away so it may be too early to call it and most people recover within few weeks or months.  I am the unlucky one.

I can write a small novel of the specialists/therapies/meds I tried and still trying.  Lately with the help of my Physical Therapist I found some of my problems coming from the neck and where neck meets the skull.  I had a whiplash injury sorta and no tests shown it.  So i recommend you take a close look at your neck and go to a Neuro-otologist (ENT specialist).

Neurologists most likely may give you some anti-depressants/head ache medicines which may help to relieve the symptoms but not a cure.  You have to get all the tests done to rule out anything and besides that you have to rest.  I am not really sure what normal is since each head injury is unique and many people has headaches and other symptoms and some will have totally different symptoms.

Go to ER asap if you haven't gone already.  You have some concerning symptoms and has to be properly diagnosed and you cannot find an answer in Internet at this stage since your injury is only a week ago.
