Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
What you have is probably bruxism. Involuntary clenching of teeth at night during sleep or bruxism is the most common sleep disorder. It is aggravated during periods of stress and by presence of worms in gut (can be diagnosed by a stool test). It may not be related to TBI unless you suffer from TBI related stress disorder.
Treatment is a combination of night guard, relaxation techniques, de worming, breathing techniques etc.
The other possibility is an associated TMJ. Please consult a dentist.
Since I cannot examine you and know other related conditions you may be having, nor is a detailed history possible on net, I have listed the various possibilities that should be looked into. Please consult your PCP for primary examination followed by proper referral. Take care!
You have to check on teeth grinding bcuz it can lead to headaches and all sort of problems. Any head injury may cause teeth grinding. I had a TBI and I am not sure I am grinding my teeth in sleep (bcuz I wake up with dizziness, headache, fatigue everyday/all day) but planning to go to a TMJ specialist at some point.
