head pains

hi, can someone please help me?
im 16 years old and i expierence frequent headaches. when i was in fourth grade, about 9 years old, i got a concussion. im not sure if that has anything to do with it, but ever since then, i got very frequent headaches. at first, we thought it was normal, but now they are coming more and more often and the pain keeps getting worse.

for about three weeks now, the back of my head feels as if it was hit with something hard, like a sledge hammer and it is going through the after effects. on a scale of 1-10, the pain is about a 9.5. when i get these headaches, i get upset and snap on anyone around me. i dont want anyone to talk to me and im not the person to be around. my headaches start early and end late. i also expierence pain and sometimes like my head is overheating?? the years before, i used to get headaches that i would have to put pressure on my temples in order for that pain to go away. those dont come as often though, but they still pop up now and then.

im trying to be as descriptive as possible. i would greatly appreciate it if someone would PLEASE help me

It could be a number of things - and it could very well be related to your prior concussion. What you need to do is talk to your doctor about this. You probably need to get an MRI and blood test done to rule out anything like a tumor or disease. I'm not a doctor so I can't tell you exactly what it is, but someone I know is going through exactly what your going through now. They have a prior head injury and have been getting headaches that have been getting worse. Her doctor sent her to get an MRI and blood work done.

Hope this helps a little.

I agree.  You need to make an appointment specifically about this instead of just mentioning it to a doctor when you are there for something else.  The pain level you are having and the increase in frequency mean you should be persistent to get an MRI.  It might be vascular.  You also need your blood pressure checked.  Is your blood thick?  That can cause headaches.  Problems with gluten or milk can cause headaches.
