i have a question maybe someone can answer, my nuerologist says that she doesnt think that being electricuted repidedly over months and then electricuted bad enough to be sent to er would put lesions on the brain, my primary doctor read the mri for brain and said  that the lesions were from being continuouly shocked, and then the big lesion was from the last shock, and that my symptoms should be taken pretty seriously. this  nuerologist is a workcomp doctor and is actualy replacing my other doctor  because she is on maternity leave. she has ordered a mra and said come back in 2 months,      symptoms, hands are still tingly and face, starting to stutter when i talk, shaking on right leg which gives out when i am walking, also constant migranes and wierd heartbeat rythems, also to having a hard time remembering things. should i be looking at a second opinion?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
It is difficult to say what the lesions are. If they are white spots then it could be due to MS, microvascular disease (arteriosclerosis), some types of headaches, Alzhiemer’s disease, old age and even due to TBI. It is difficult to differentiate the white spots due to one disease from the white spots due to another. Patient history and other parameters are taken into consideration and co related with the MRI picture.
Please discuss this with your neurologist. Take care!
