Ambulance services

I was just told by Blue Cross BS that the ambulance that took my husband to the hospital was not "in network."  For an emergency, we didnot have a choice what ambulance took him to the ER. Can they deny this claim entirely?

Typically emergency benefits are not subject to the network stipulations. To verify your coverage, contact your insurance company’s customer service department using the phone number on your membership card.
