Bariactric Surgery

I would like to know why CareSource does not have a program to help with weightloss. Obesity is one of the leading diseases of our time and yet medicaid is not willing to help. I tried 3 years ago and all the physicians, counselors, nutrionists were all in agreement that I would make a great candidate for surgery, unfortunately the medical board which I had 2 states hearings said I was not medically necessary. I'm considered morbidly obese and I am still currently looking for help. I need those tools to help in weightloss. There wasn't a consideration of an alternative to the Rouen Y, like the lap band or others. What are people like myself who have CareSource and are in need suppose to do. Why is there no form of a program within medicaid?
