I ripped my fingernail off on Halloween. Unbeknownst to me because I forgot to read the changes in my coverage My health insurance has a $100 deductible for urgent care services but the whole charge is subject to my $5000 deductible if it was a emergency room visit. I was directed to the hospital's fast track services which is open 10 to 10. The bill was $2400 billed as an ER visit. I asked the hospital to revise its billing charge bc it was not treatment in the ER. Anyone know my chances of getting the charges reduced as urgent care charges?
