Full Time Student Coverage

by jsmd80, Apr 15, 2009 07:06AM
Are there laws/regulations in the US or States that require Health Plans to cover full-time students up to a certain age under the parents plan?
My daughter is still in college and just turned 23, where my health plan says she is terminated from the plan.

Dear jsmd80,

For regualtions regarding full time student dependent children in your state you can visit "The National Conference of State Legislatures" website @ http://www.ncsl.org/programs/health/dependentstatus.htm

You might have to copy the link & paste it into a browser.
