Looking for Health Insurance Coverage

After this year I will no longer be able to be claimed on my parents health insurance policy. I need major medical insurance at an affordable rate and don't know where to look. Does anyone have any suggestions on some good plans????

Depending on where you live, your age and your needs, there are a number of affordable options.

You may want to call your state's insurance department to get a list of private health insurance companies.  You may also want to contact your local Blue Cross to see what they can do for you.

I am definitely going to look into my state's insurance department. Thanks for the advice. I want to make sure that I don't get taken advantage of because that tends to happen to me since I am young. I was wondering if you knew about how much I should expect to pay a year or if there is a way for me to know when I have found a good rate or not. I appreciate your help!
