deductable

Hi I HAVE TO HAVE ACT SCAN OF THE BRAIN DUE TO EXTREME headaches and cant pay the deductable and they wont make payments what can i do to have this done

It is customary for providers (like clinics, doctors, labs) to ask the patient for their share of cost upfront except in “Emergency” situations or settings (such as an ER). This is because outside a life threatening emergency, there are no laws or regulations “requiring” providers to provide services if they don’t want to. I recommend you try as many providers as possible to see if anyone will allow you to pay for the deductible in form of payments; otherwise if your condition gets worse, you may end up in the Emergency Room, where they will have to perform a CT Scan regardless of whether you have the money to pay for your deductible.
