I just have to say that I LOVE this time of the year we are getting into!! I was at my farmer's market this week and loaded up on corn on the cob, green peppers, blueberries, cherries, potatoes, leaf lettuce, white nectarines and a whole lot more! I was pretty much like a kid in a candy store there this week!! It's just so nice to go buy fresh, in season produce to cook with :)
Now if only local jalapeno's would come into season so I could make fresh salsa! You can't buy a jalapeno around here at the grocery store with the recall on :( Really these folks are cramping my style!
Anyone else loving this time of year and cooking up a storm? anyone want to come defrost my deep freezer so I have room to freeze all this? he he he
