Drink Water and Stay healthy and Active.
This makes sense .. The Chinese and Japanese drink hot tea with their meals ...not cold water. Maybe it is time we adopt their drinking habit while eating!!! Nothing to lose, everything to gain...
For those who like to drink cold water, this article is applicable to you.
It is nice to have a cup of cold drink after a meal. However, the cold water will solidify the oily stuff that you have just consumed . It will slow down the digestion.
Once this 'sludge' reacts with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food. It will line the intestine. Very soon, this will turn into fats and lead to cancer.. It is best to drink hot soup or warm water after a meal.
A serious note about heart attacks: Women should know that not every heart attack symptom is going to be the left arm hurting.
Be aware of intense pain in the jaw line.
You may never have the first chest pain during the course of a heart attack...
Nausea and intense sweating are also common symptoms.
60% of people who have a heart attack while they are asleep do not wake up.
Pain in the jaw can wake you from a sound sleep. Let's be careful and be aware. The more we know, the better chance we could survive...
I've heard that drinking ionized water results in alkaline water that is cleaner, better tasting, and better for people. I believe it but I can't buy a ionizer right now. So I use the next best thing: Distilled water.
Distilled water works much like that of a magnet. It picks up rejected and discarded minerals, which are debris obstructing normal body function, and then transports them to the kidneys for elimination from the system. Minerals which are usable by the body, become part of the body, and the magnetic action of the distilled water has no effect on them. So drinking distilled water is the best for cleaning out this debris from the system.
As much as we need to drink water, one time that we should NOT drink water is with meals. Drinking with meals dilutes the gastric juice and slows the digestive process. So your absolutely right. The best time to drink water is between meals—20 minutes before a meal, and not until 2 hours after a meal—to obtain maximum digestion of your meal. When you are ill, drink plenty of water. This replaces any fluid lost during a fever and insures that every part of your body will function well.
Have you heard of the late Dr Batmanghelidj? He did all kinds of studies involving water, he wrote a book called "Your Body's Many Cries for Water" it is amazing how important the right kind of water is.
Here is a link to one of his sites. http://www.watercure.com/about_drb.html
About water with meals, that is absolutely right, it should NOT be consumed during that time, it creates a pool that the food just ferments in and that is why so many folks get a tummy after they eat. There is a right way and a wrong way to drink it, sadly, it is not taught in most schools, not even naturopathic ones. It is so important too.
Yep. It's interesting how we know how to use our microwaves, television and alarm clock but don't know how our bodies work. lol
We'd rather listen to our doctors who tell us to keep taking drugs than to try giving our bodies what it really needs and wants... exercise, water, sunshine, air, healthy food, temperance, God and rest.
