Depression induced hearing loss??

Hi,

Since childhood I could never hear with my right ear but that was not a problem for me. I could hear just fine with my left ear. However in my later teen years I started to experience a bit of hearing loss in my left ear as well. But the main problem happened the day I got terribly depressed with a personal thing. My hearing drastically dropped and ended up with  over 80% hearing loss. Doctors say I have had a senso-neural loss. Now I am 26 and am using a hearing aid constantly. Is my hearing loss treatable?

Thanks

Did you ever look into this or have your doctor treat you further?  I would be very interested to hear of your experience with this.
