Despair but fighting to stay positive

I experienced sudden loss is total hearing on Aoril 12. Instacare said I may get ear infection so u was given Zithromax, saudades and Flonase and told my hearing would be gone for a week or more. After Zithromax done I was having my hair done and when I was having my hair washed, I thought I was going to pass out - felt like my entire head was under water. Went to ENT and was told to do Heparin shots. Conflicting information from other ENTs - also had tube put in for Decadron drops. At exactly one month, started prednisone pills - high dosage for five days then dwindling down. Have a new ENT who said that the longer we get out the less positive outcome. I showed some improvement with Prednisone but tested a week ago, sadly, with 78 dbl and 4 percent r hearing recognition. I was also told to take Ergoloid Mesylate to open up the blood vessels. This medication does the opposite from Prednisone. I feel tired, nauseous, dizzy and see things that aren't there and vice versa.  During that first month I was extremely busy with so many emergencies and tried to tough it out by going out - until one doctor mentioned that one could be at higher risk of losing other ear . I am also getting ear shots through tube - after two weeks will assess. I'm supposed to fly a long distance in July - I was in a bad plane accident and fear anyway.  Have a lot of stress - fear of claustrophobia. Thanks
