Hearing Aids

On Oct 23, 08, we were watching  "The Doctors" TV program where they were talking and showing a 90 day hearing aid inserted directly into the ear ---- could you please describe the unit and is it available in South Georgia, also, the costs.  Do you have a brochure on this new devise????  Preston J. Do not get or attempt to use such a product. This type of product has been tried before in the past and has failed many times. (and those companies went bank rupt)

If you want something small & comfortable, look in to the GnResound DOT, or Rexton GEM

Honestly there are tons of options & now hearing aids are using blue tooth technology...  the technology is growing by leaps.

Go to youtube and type in "Siemens TEK" and view that video for an idea of the level of technology out there today.

Secondly, I would not advise you to listen to a physician regarding hearing aids. Most ENTs could not even tell you where to place the battery.  Audiologist are by far the most academically trained and experienced in the area of auditory habilitation.
