How long for recovery?

If you had sudden sensorineural hearing loss, how long did it take for you to recover at least 50% of your hearing? (or PTA hearing threshold better than 40 dB)

Yep! But of course I am lucky: my other ear has perfect hearing, and my insurance (finally) paid for a Baha several years ago. This is nothing compared to having hearing loss in both ears (and lots of other, much worse things, of course).

Given the severity of my loss and the fact it was a "traumatic" event and accompanied by instant dizziness and tinnitus, I probably wasn't ever going to recover any hearing anyway.

It's been 14 years, and I never recovered any hearing. Severe-to-profound sensorineural loss on the left, due to sneezing.
