Infected eustachian tube.

Infected eustachian tube.

I had a very bad cold which included a productive cough that started the 3rd week of December.  It has gotten better but I started to get this sensation that I have water in my right ear the first week of January.  I still have the sensation as of today.

I was diagnosed with an infected esutachian tube earlier this week.  My doctor prescribed the following:

Singulair 10mg,
Azelastine HCI nasal spray 137 mcg (2 sprays a day, twice a day),
Nasacort nasal spray (2 sprays once a day),
Factive 320 MG,
Allegra D (but I got Claritin D instead).

My question is: are all these drugs necessary?  I know that the Factive is to rid the infection but the other meds are intended for allergies (which I don't have).  And also, if the meds do not clear the fluid from my right ear, what will happen at that point?

Thank you.
