Knocking ear

Hi. I develeped an ear problem several years ago from diving too deep into a swimming pool. Water seeped in and my ear felt blocked for a long time. After a few years I developed acute ear pain and I went to an ENT specialist who told me there was wax sitting on my eardrum. He suctioned my ear and I was fine. A few months after that my ear was painful again and he washed my ear as wax had begun to build up again. A few moths ago my ear felt blocked agai and I went to my dodctor who told me my ear was in perfect condition. Recently, I was subjected to loud noise and I developed the folowing symptoms:
- Acute pain in my right ear
-sometimes I feel something move in my ear in an outward motion then back in an inward motion producung a knocking sound
-my ear feels blocked
What could this be and what can I do

If there is no wax blocking the external ear canal, you can be having a blocked Eustachian tube (tube connecting ear to throat). Try valsalva maneuver (take a deep breath and blow while pinching your nostrils shut and closing your mouth). This will help clear the secretions in the tube that connects the back of your throat with your ear. If this does not help, take a second opinion from another ENT specialist. Take care!
