Poor patient compliance post turbinate reduction

After turbinate reduction my OCD took over and on day 3 post op I began "cleaning" the gunk accumulated in my nose with fairly gentle blowing, q tips and tweezers to grab the crusty parts.  Now I am worried because the yellowish drainage increased significantly. Might I have done damage to the sites?

Hm, this sounds like more of an ENT question than a hearing loss question. You might have better luck posting in the ENT forum.

I hope your nose heals soon!
