Tinnitus and sudden hearing loss

by Eltonlamchunhung, Oct 18, 2009 12:50AM
I wonder if someone can tell me whether accupuncture can be effective in treating tinnitus and sudden hearing loss. I want to know if anyone has got improvement after accupuncture treatment.Any comments would be appreciated.

There is zero proof that this would work.  Zero.  Furthermore, there is no plausible mechanism of action to even postulate how this would work.  You can likely find anecdotal reports of people having success.  Tinnitus and hearing loss can improve on their own and anyone who had improvement after accupuncture would not be able to prove that this was anything more than a coincidence.  Save your money.
