Hello,
You have asked a great question.  The first place to start is to find an Audiologist and have a hearing evaluation.  That evaluation will be able to determine if you are a candiate for a hearing aid in your surgery ear.  There are traditional hearing aids that fit Behind-the-Ear that are generally more recommended for surgical ears and there are also bone anchored hearing aids that could also be recommended.  You can find an Audiologist at www.hearusa.com.

Thank you,
