AF ablation in selected patients with heart failure and low ejection fraction is a relatively effective method of maintaining sinus rhythm, improving left ventricular systolic function and do you mean by "reversing"  to be the left ventricle returned to normal size?

There has been a study regarding patients with heart failure (EF < 40%). The patients underwent catheter ablation and 78% had sinus rhythm at 1 year. In this study, sinus rhythm was associated with an improvement in ejection fraction; a reduction in left ventricular dimensions; an improvement in exercise capacity; and reduction in symptoms and improvement in quality of life.

If the heart dimension has returned to normal, the EF should also reflect an improvement.

Thanks for the question, and if you have any further questions or comments you are welcome to respond.  Take care, and I wish you well going forward.
