2xM.I and Extreme Angina -

by Irishdan, Feb 04, 2009 03:50PM
I am a 32 year old single male. Four years ago I was working in india and due to the heat and bad working conditions I was told that I suffered from a T.I.A and after various results I was diagnosed with Malaria. Then, on return to Ireland I had an M.I at 28 and a second at 30. However my results for malaria changed. To date I am still having extreme chest pains and my cardiologist cant find anything wrong. I am on medication for high bp. The last reading and on average with medication is 200/130. We are all confused as my heart does not show any sign of carido stress or M.I damage but my records show I had them. The issue now is that the pain I am now having is central chest and back pain with pallor. I am overweigh by about 30lbs and have stopped smoking. My concern is maybe some damage was done with malaria medication and cant be picked up? Also, I am using a G.T.N spray and used an entire bottle in one month. I was admitted and E.C.G's show irregular aspects but then all of a sudden they return to normal, as if i am a very healthy person. Yet they have witnessed me having an angina attack and records show that it does happen. Both myself, G.P and Cardiologist are confused. The pain is now more frequent and I have had to stop work and my breathing is extremly shallow. Family history shows a lot of stomach and bowel cancer but no cardio issues at all.  A list of a confused symptom's, sorry. Dan
