I over heated at work and balcked out for about 30 seconds it was over 115 deg and I had been sweeting a lot. I got outside and cooled off and got a headache real bad.  The headache lasted for 3 days I went to the doctor that following tuesday because I was having hard chest pains felt likek my heart was starting and stopping. I have had Echo w/doppler, Stress test, nuclear imaging and holter monitoring done. all show a irregular baseline rythme.   I have never had problems of any kind with my heart.
What I would like to know is Can overheating trigger PVC'S or is my heart out of rythme due to an electrolyte emballance. and while they stop..

Dear Paul
Overheating can definitely trigger PVCs, but they should not last indefinitely. Dehydration can cause an electrolyte imbalance, which can cause PVCs, but again this should not be a long-lasting problem. If the PVCs were due to either of these reasons they should have stopped by now.
I hope this has been useful. I wish you the best of luck. Feel free to write back.
