64 slice heart cat scan 634....

by r2d22344, Jun 17, 2009 09:06PM
Hi, I'm an 60 yr. old male in "excellent" health (I thought). Untill I had a Cat scan with a 634 score. Result; "the LAD artery has dense proximal Calcification extending to the mid vessel with a total score of 396. The right coronary artery has evidence of plaque in the proximal and distal vessel with a score of 225. The left main score 15.  The left circumflex has no evidence of significant calcific plaque. There are no significant extracardiac findings.      My primary Doctor gave me an appointment for over a month later to follow up. They don't seem to think it's important even after I explained it to them and faxed them another copy of the report from the Hospital that my Doctor had sent me too for testing. I'm not over weight, BP 115/75. and I seem to have good cardio workouts. Question, should I be concerned not seeing the Doctor right away. In your opinion just how bad or good can my condition possible be. This whole thing has shocked me as I'm a health nut. Thanks for your time, you guys do a Great Service!
