I have a pacemaker for about 8 years. A month ago I picked something heavy up and heard a pop and then felt shooting pain in my chest. No insurance but went to the County ER and they took an xray and didn't see anything alarming. A month later it STILL feels like an ice pick is in my chest ... right where the pacemaker is and then my left arm started tingling and now it's going numb. I'm in my 40s ... if that makes a difference. Any advice? Again, I've been to the county ER ... and they didn't help me at all ... a *real* hospital would cost too much ... I don't have that kind of money. ADVICE on how to make this stop hurting soo much would be great ...
